Bộ thu thập dữ liệu được lắp đặt ngay tại tại điểm đo và có chức năng thu thập dữ liệu theo thời gian cài đặt và gửi dữ liệu về trung tâm, giám sát các mức cảnh báo….

• Nguồn nuôi bằng PIN (khoảng 3 đến 5 năm thay PIN 1 lần).
• Dữ liệu đầu vào có thể là các dạng sau: 0-20mA, 4-20mA, 0-10V, 0-10mV, Áp lực (Pressure), Xung (Pulse) ….
• Module 3G tích hợp sẵn bên trong (Dùng SIM điện thoại di động như Vina, Mobi… để gửi dữ liệu về trung tâm). Ngoài ra còn có loại truyền dữ liệu về trung tâm bằng đường điện thoại cố định (điện thoại bàn).
• Có thể cài đặt được: có thể dùng phần mềm trên máy tính hoặc trên PDA để cài đặt cấu hình cho logger như thời gian lấy mẫu, thời gian gửi dữ liệu về trung tâm, mức cảnh báo,…
• Có thể lắp đặt ngầm dưới lòng đất, hoặc trong địa hình phức tạp (nơi lắp đặt phải có sóng GSM)
